Craig "Stan" Eury
Founder
Stan has been involved in matching employers with farmworkers since 1979. From 1979 until 1989 Stan worked as a rural manpower representative for the North Carolina Employment Security Commission. During his time there, the farm labor shortage was apparent and the guestworker programs as we know them today were in their infancy.
In 1989, Stan started the North Carolina Growers Association assisting North Carolina agricultural employers in utilizing the H2A program. As people from all over the country began contacting Stan, he decided in 1994 to establish another company to assist employers outside of North Carolina, that company was International Labor Management Corporation (ILMC). When ILMC began, it had a whopping five clients. Today ILMC has over 600 clients that span the entire country that assist employers in various employment environments.
Since 1989, Stan has been committed to making the guestworker program easier and more user-friendly for all employers. Stan has testified as an expert witness before Congress on several occasions as a representative of labor-intensive agriculture. He has also been an active member of the National Council of Agricultural Employers (NCAE) where he served as Chairman of the Immigration Committee. In that capacity, he introduced immigration reform legislation and testified before Congress on behalf of the NCAE and the American Association of Nurserymen. In 1995, he was elected to the board of directors for the NCAE. Stan is also a member of the North Carolina Agri-Business Council and the North Carolina Agricultural Safety & Health Council. Stan has been working diligently since 1994 to lower the H2A pay rate and reform the guestworker programs.
Stan has also been an agricultural employer himself as he served as Vice President and co-owner of S&S Greenhouses, a horticultural wholesale and retail operation. Stan received a B.S, Education from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Stan is a native of Newport News, VA but has been a resident of North Carolina for 37 years. He and his wife Susan have three children, Sarah, Rachel and Craig. His daughter Sarah has served as ILMC's Vice President since 2003 and became President in 2008.
